BMW 6-Series Black Bison – Wald International

Wald International has released a new Black Bison package for the 2016 BMW 6-Series, and it provides the grand tourer BMW with a rather muscular-looking touch-up that is rather eye-popping. This is not your run-of-the-mill 6-Series luxury barge – with the modifications from Wald International, it is a pants-wetting bruiser for the streets.

Black Bison Muscly and Menacing

On the appearance part, the Black Bison offers a menacing stance with flared wheel arches along with aggressive front and rear bumpers. It is like one of those boxing champions who puts on weights before getting into the ring to fight.

The greyish gloss-black elements of the car, such as the kidney grilles, bumper intakes, side skirt trim, rear decklid spoiler, and larger rear diffuser, all add to its menacing demeanor. In terms of overall style, I think it is very attention-grabbing and daring, which I think makes this particular 6-Series unique.

Enhanced Aerodynamics and Presence

Contrary to giving the impression of a car being used, these widened front and rear fenders indeed have something more to offer than just the looks. The widening of the flared arches means that there is no space for the new 3-piece forged wheels to be installed.

This affects the car’s external shape and internal structural integrity and, therefore affects its aerodynamics and handling performance.

I also like here that the front intakes are no longer stubby pipes but go almost from side to side in the lower front bumper. In addition to directing more air for engine cooling, they are shaped like boxers’ hands before the start of a fight, with the gloves tightly wrapped to deliver an uppercut blow!

This side profile of the Black Bison just looks like it is standing tall thanks to the newly added muscular wheel arches installed over the 22-inch Helius Wheel rims.

So, it is right on the button where this BMW is concerned, as it does indeed have a more elevated status on the roads now. It draws attention not only as a 6-Series luxury coupe but especially as something vicious after having passed through the Black Bison conversion.

Custom Interior Upgrades

We are not talking only about the changes in the appearance of the car in this case. The interior of the Wald is not completely blacked out but it does provide some of the added options inside.

These are such things as Black Bison logos on the vehicles’ bodies and distinct patterns of leather perforation on seats. It is dark, which gives it a handsome look, and seems luxurious and too classy.

I wouldn’t mind the dark interior as much if the execution of the design is as precise as the attention to detail that’s been shown here.

As for the touch of gothic, it is kept just enough and does not make the cabin look sad or gloomy – the color contrast stitching and the special badges are added to make it look special.

As for myself, I think you could go even further and add even more of the color black to the car’s brightwork just to offset the intensity of the Black Bison skin.

A Luxury Coupe Transformed

By applying its magic to the BMW 6-Series luxury coupe and turning it into Black Bison edition, Wald International has delivered a car that feels different, not just in terms of looks.

It carries forward the 6-Series’ core luxury attributes and driving character but with an extra layer of aggression as seen in the design of the GT.

Performance

This is something that I really like – stripping the glamour of grand touring cars and making them as raw as a street fighter. In my perspective, it blends well, especially when done to the best of skills as seen in this 2016 6-Series Black Bison coupe.

It has the punch of 560 horsepower under the hood, from a 4.4-liter V8 engine that we know is found on the M6 model as well… 0-100 in only 4.2 seconds, wow!

In effect, it is the quintessential weapon for the modern-day mercenary or the well-to-do business tycoon in the city.
