The car’s aerodynamic kit comes with many important changes, which means the model now gets a front lip made of carbon fiber reinforced polymer, additional front skirts, carbon fiber side skirts, and a new diffuser and spoiler. Other changes include new lowering springs and a high-performance exhaust system.

The new aerodynamic kit is complemented by 19- or 20-inch Type III forged wheels, giving the vehicle an even more aggressive look.

The new BMW M2‘s 3.0-litre, in-line six-cylinder engine features state-of-the-art M TwinPower Turbo technology, so it develops 272 kW/370 hp at 6,500 rpm (average fuel consumption combined: 8.5 l/100 km; CO2 emissions: 199 g/km)*. Maximum torque of 465 Nm can be increased to 500 Nm in short bursts under overboost overall, allowing the BMW M2, equipped with the optional seven-speed M Dual Clutch Transmission (M DCT) and Launch Control, to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

Top speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. However, in the M DCT version, the car emphasizes its remarkable efficiency – fuel consumption of just 7.9 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of only 185 g/km.
